FOTO ARSENAL WIEN is a center for everyone. That is why we focus on offerings that are inclusive. We support barrier-free participation in cultural life for people with and without disabilities, and we would like to offer a cultural program that is suited to the most varied target groups. We ensure unrestricted access to the subject matter of exhibitions, to our site, and to participation in exchanges for all visitors by offering tours in Austrian sign language, tours in simple language, and collaborative projects with various clubs and initiatives.

FOTO ARSENAL WIEN is a meeting place. We promote interaction by inviting people with different backgrounds and from different parts of society to engage in dialogue. One focus of our work is cooperating with socially marginalized groups, including children and teenagers with limited opportunities for social participation. These target groups often have no access to art, and we aim to break down the barriers that are associated with this. Children and teenagers today have early exposure to photography. Not only are they constantly being photographed and shown pictures by their parents; they also use social media and play online games in visual worlds whose aesthetics are based on photography. This is also where our formats start:

Fee: 80 euros for tour, plus 5 euros per person

The program for school classes and groups at FOTO ARSENAL WIEN capitalizes on inspiration, creativity, and critical media reflection. It focuses equally on analog and digital photography, the analysis of pictures, and artistic expressiveness.
