The studio visit and discussion will focus on the relevance of photography in the multidisciplinary artist's work. VALIE EXPORT formulates her analysis of mass media and depiction processes explicitly as a feminist critique in order to examine the role of women, their social marginalisation and the representation of the female body in a patriarchal society.
